牧部於復活節及聖誕節組織義工，派發禮
物及頌唱聖詩，讓住院病人感受節日的歡
樂氣氛。

院牧部以「關懷照顧者」為念，讓員工感
受到全人關顧及更有力照顧病人與關心同
袍。院牧隊工以個人牧關及各類相關活動
來關懷員工，其中包括：週一晚間查經
班（平均

Caring for Patients and Families
During 2014/15, the total number of visits by both chaplains
and Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) students reached 13,058,
9% increase from last year. The personal spiritual needs are served.
There was a total of 1,572 referrals of which 179 were urgent cases.
Our emergency on-call service has provided valuable support
to the patients and their families. In Easter and Christmas, the
department has delivered gift and carolling to all the in-patients,
offering joy in the joyful seasons.
Spiritual Care for Staff
The Chaplaincy Department employs the concept “Caring for the
Carer” to staff, enabling them to experience holistic care so that they
will be able to provide effective support to patients and colleagues.
The chaplaincy team provides personal care as well as relevant
programmes to assist the staff in the hospital. These programmes
included Monday night bible study class with an average attendance
of 8; Wednesday noon time worship service with an average
attendance of 35; Christian Fellowship on first Thursday of each
month, with an average attendance of 20; vocal training classes,
special prayer meetings and evangelistic meetings, also seasonal
activities with total attendance of more than 3,000.
