前言
「我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華!不可忘記 衪的一切恩惠!衪赦免你一切的罪孽，醫 治你的一切疾病。衪救贖你的命脫離地府， 以仁愛和憐憫為你的冠冕。衪用美物使你 的生命得以滿足，以致你如鷹返老還童。」 ( 詩篇103章2至5節 )
疫情下的牧養
過去一年，醫院管理局 ( 醫管局 ) 仍然實 施「緊急應變級別」，醫院所有病室暫停 探訪，常規院牧探訪仍需停止。遇有需要 緊急心靈關顧服務時，醫院管理層將按個 別情況酌情考慮，在嚴格遵守防疫措施的 情況下，作出適時適切的安排，因而院牧 仍有機會為有需要的病友、家屬及醫護員 工提供心靈關顧服務。除了病室探訪，實 體聚會及活動亦需暫停。院牧藉由文字、 電話、影音、視像及網上社交媒體等提供 遙距牧養，與服務對象保持聯繫。
院牧部一直因應疫情的發展，適時檢討駐 院院牧的當值安排，亦從沒間斷地以各種 形式盡力回應病人家屬及醫護的服務轉介
Prologue
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.” (Psalm 103:2-5)
Pastoral Care under COVID-19
The "emergency response level" continued to be implemented in the past year. The Hospital Authority suspended all ward visits including routine visits by chaplains. If there is a need for emergency spiritual care services, the hospital management could approve each at a time, where appropriate, on a case-by-case basis. Provided that infection control measures were followed, we still had the opportunity to provide spiritual care services to patients, family members and healthcare colleagues in need. Besides, physical gatherings and activities were still suspended. We have provided remote pastoral care through texts, phone calls, videos and online social media to keep in touch with our service users.
We have been reviewing chaplains' duty roster at the hospital in accordance with the development of the epidemic. We continued to receive service referrals from patients' families and healthcare colleagues, and we kept trying our best to respond in many different
