*陸志聰醫生於二零二一年十一月一日起榮休卸任，並由李夏茵醫生於二零二一年七月一日至二零二二年一月二日署任。其後， 蘇潔瑩醫生將於二零二二年一月三日起正式接任。

Prologue
Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH), opened on 15 October 1993, is the first public hospital that commenced service following the establishment of the Hospital Authority (HA). It is a major acute general hospital which provides comprehensive secondary and tertiary services, and works seamlessly with six other hospitals and 12 general outpatient clinics under the Hong Kong East Cluster (HKEC) to provide a broad range of services including inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory care, accident and emergency, allied health, community and primary care services mainly for the population in the Eastern and Wanchai Districts of Hong Kong Island, as well as outlying islands (excluding North Lantau).
Over the years, HKEC has established a close network with community partners under a robust service model of medical- social collaboration. To foster the collaboration, a symposium on community engagement is held annually since 2006, where stakeholders from the HA, government, social welfare sector, private healthcare sector, patient groups and the District Council have enthusiastically participated. Entering its 15th anniversary in 2021, the symposium has become one of the most significant platforms for professionals to share cross-industry experiences and new ideas. 東區尤德夫人那打素醫院(下稱「東區醫 院」)，於一九九三年十月十五日投入服務， 是醫院管理局(下稱「醫管局」)成立後首 間公營醫院，亦是港島東醫院聯網(下稱
「聯網」)的急症全科醫院，提供全方位的 第二及第三層醫療服務，與聯網轄下其餘 六間醫院及 12 間普通科門診診所互相協作， 主要為港島東區、灣仔區及離島(北大嶼 山除外)居民提供全面的住院、門診、日 間護理、急症、專職醫療、社區護理和基 層醫療服務。
多年來，聯網與本地的社區夥伴保持緊密 聯繫，建立起「醫」、「社」合作的服務模 式。為促進兩者協作，自二零零六年起每 年合辦醫社合作研討會，邀請多位來自醫 院管理局、政府、社福界、私家醫生、病 人組織及區議會等代表出席。研討會到 二零二一年踏入第十五個年頭，已經成為 相關跨界別專業人士就實踐經驗和創新意
