病人自助組織服務分享會
鑑於疫情影響,一年一度的病人自助組織服 務分享會已於二零二零年十一月二十七日改 以視訊會議 (Zoom) 形式進行。是次分享 會共有 27 位病人自助組織代表參加,大 家互相分享組織在疫情期間的運作及服務 情況。雖然大部份組織都受影響而暫停, 但維持派發防疫包及電話慰問等有限度服 務關心病友。本部亦藉此機會講解醫院擴 建的最新資訊及智慧型醫院的概念。組織 代表們都十分期待及提出寶貴意見。最後, 各代表都期望疫情快過,希望可以盡快恢 復正常運作,繼續到醫院參與義工服務及 病人活動。

HRC social workers facilitating fruitful sharing in the forum
Sharing Forum for Patient Self-help Groups
The Sharing Forum was organized on 27 October 2021 in which 27 patient leaders from external patient self-help groups and UCH patient groups participated to share the influences of the pandemic to their services. Besides, we shared with the leaders about the latest development of UCH patient service and UCH expansion project with smart hospital concept. Those leaders shared their opinions on hospital service and collaboration and also looked forward to the resumption of volunteer services after the pandemic.
「共里一起」觀塘中嘉年華
為提升社會和諧氣氛及正能量,並減少疫 症對精神健康帶來的負面影響,由社會福 利署主辦,聯同基督教家庭服務中心活動 家庭坊 ( 綜合家庭服務 )、基督教家庭服 務中心真光苑長者地區中心、錫安社會服 務處綜合青少年服務中心、社會福利署牛 頭角綜合家庭服務中心及基督教聯合醫院 健康資源中心合辦之「共里一起」觀塘中 嘉年華,是次活動於二零二零年十二月 十九日以網上形式舉行,五間社福機構 合共有接近一百人參與,「場面」熱鬧。 大會在活動啟動禮後隨即播放由合辦單位 之服務使用者共同製作的勵志音樂短片, 藉以向區內居民表達關懷及鼓勵,在疫情 期間為大家「打打氣」。接着的精彩活動 包括由長者教授毛巾操、魔術表演、愛心 毛巾熊製作及有獎問答遊戲等。此外,本 院臨床心理學家分享精神健康「小貼士」, 讓參加者學習在疫症影響下仍能放鬆心情, 做自己的情緒「話事人」。如此嶄新形式 的嘉年華確是值得欣賞。

Patient forum was organized in Zoom under the COVID-19 pandemic
"Neighborhoods Together" Online Carnival in Kwun Tong Central
The COVID-19 pandemic had impacted the daily lives of many people in different aspects. In order to promote mental health and positive energy to Kwun Tong residents, Social Welfare Department (Kwun Tong District Social Welfare Office) organized “Neighborhoods Together” Online Carnival on 19 December 2020, in collaboration with Christian Family Service Centre Family Energizer (Integrated Family Service), Christian Family Service Centre True Light Villa District Elderly Community Centre, Zion Social Service Limited Integrated Children and Youth Service Centre, Social Welfare Department Ngau Tau Kok Integrated Family Service Centre and United Christian Hospital Health Resource Center.
More than 100 participants enjoyed various programsme in the online Carnival, including mini lecture on mental health tips during the epidemic given by United Christian Hospital Clinical Psychologist, towel exercise led by elderly volunteers, magic shows and handcraft production. Also, an encouraging music video was produced with the participation of the users of the above five NGOs. It aimed at disseminating positive energy to the community during the pandemic. In fact, positive feedback was received from the participants and the format of virtual event was much appreciated.
