改善服務質素
設備現代化和儀器升級有助我們提供高效 的服務，並安排更快、更安全及更適切的 治療。年內，本院展開首兩階段的急症室 擴建工程的籌備工作。根據計劃，實際環 境及設備改善工程包括設立負氣壓急救室、 發燒區、一間淨化除污室、容納三張病床 的病格、增設兩間處理次緊急及非緊急個 案的診症室、一間小型手術室、一間房間 處理送院前已死亡個案，以及一間多用途 室。此外，我們亦會擴大病人等候區及分 流區。上述的改善工程將締造出更安全及 無限制的臨床環境，以便我們更有效地善 用有限空間、提高服務能力、確保服務質 素及病人安全，同時改善員工的職業安全 及健康。

Improve Service Quality
Modernization of facilities and equipment upgrade support our staff members in efficiently delivering services and offer faster, safer and more accurate treatment. During the year, AHNH has kicked off the first two-phases of preparatory works for expansion of Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department. Anticipated improvements of the physical environment and facilities include the set-up of resuscitation room with negative pressure, fever zone, one decontamination room, one cubicle with three beds to accommodate urgent cases, two additional consultation rooms to receive semi-urgent and non-urgent cases, one minor operating room, one room to accommodate patients who are certified dead before arrival to A&E and one multi-functional room. In addition, waiting area for patients and triage area will also be expanded. These all contributed to better utilization of limited area, optimizing its service capacity, ensuring service quality and patient safety in a safe and restraint-free clinical setting and enhancing occupational safety and health of staff members.
