本院重視提升基礎設施能力、整合服務及 協調各個專科，藉此加強服務的便捷度及 覆蓋範疇。我們將日間服務的靜脈注射抗 菌治療的開放時間延長至每日八小時，旨 在為病人提供適切護理及致力提高服務效 率。本院竭力加強專科門診服務，包括因 應需求增加而撥出四間診症室，用作提供 甲狀腺科服務。我們亦翻新抽血中心，以 增加抽血站數目及建立預約系統，藉此縮 短輪候時間及提高運作效率。 此外，為配 合機構發展綜合模式專科門診服務的護士 診所先導計劃，我們於二零二零年十月成 立風濕科護士診所，為類風濕性關節炎病 人提供及時的評估、檢查及護理。我們亦 成立了跨專科的紓緩治療診症團隊，為癌 症及腎衰竭病人提供額外的診症服務，以 助我們及早發現有需要的病人和安排預設 照顧計劃。社區服務方面，我們加強對老 人院舍末期病人的支援，安排更多社區老 人評估小組以外展形式提供協助。
AHNH accorded priority to strengthen service accessibility and coverage through enhancement of infrastructure capacity, service integration as well as coordination of different specialties. The provision of Parenteral Antimicrobial therapy was extended to 8-hour daily in ambulatory setting, aiming to offer appropriate level of care while maximizing service efficiency. Tremendous efforts were put in to strengthen the Specialist Outpatient Clinic services, including the allocation of four consultation rooms for the provision of thyroid service in response to increasing demand, and the renovation of Blood Taking Centre which manages the waiting time and streamlines operation efficiency by increasing the number of blood taking stations and setting up a booking system. Furthermore, in line with the corporate initiative of developing Integrated Model of Specialist Outpatient Service through Nurse Clinic, Rheumatalogy Nurse Clinic was set up in October 2020 to provide timely assessment, investigation and care for rheumatoid arthritis patients. Besides, a multi-disciplinary Palliative Care Consultative team was set up to provide additional consultative visits for cancer and renal failure cases, facilitating early identification of patients in need and advanced care planning. On community-based services, the support for terminally-ill patients living in Residential Care Homes for the Elderly was enhanced with the provision of additional Community Geriatric Assessment Team outreach attendances.
