東區醫院於二零一四年六月完成了第二次根據澳洲醫療服務標
準委員會的醫院認證「機構評審」，並獲得四年認可資格
PYNEH completed the secondOrganization-Wide Survey of Hospital
Accreditation in June 2014 and received full accreditation status of
the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards for four years
聯網極為注重穩健的質素及安全系統。解
剖病理學實驗室由二零一四年第二季開始
推行條碼式追蹤及存檔系統，確保能正確
識別樣本。東區醫院於二零一四年六月成
為香港首間進行第二次醫院認證「機構評
審」的公立醫院。聯網亦繼續將優化醫療團
隊管理培訓計劃推廣至其他聯網。
在應付日增的服務同時，聯網亦在環保方
面作出貢獻。東區醫院在環境管理上的努
力得到認同，在二零一四年五月獲環境運
動委員會授予二零一三年香港環保卓越計
劃「界別卓越獎」的「公共機構及公用事業
— 優異獎」。
為加強機構管治，管理層和醫院管治委員
會持續建立更多的溝通平台，醫院管治委
員會的年度自我評估亦已在本年度開始。
Sustaining a robust quality and safety system is always high on
HKEC’s agenda. The barcode-based tracking and archiving system
implemented in anatomical pathology laboratories since the
second quarter of 2014 enhanced correct identification of specimens.
PYNEH was the first public hospital in Hong Kong to complete the
second Organization-Wide Survey (OWS) of Hospital Accreditation
in June 2014. HKEC also continued support rollout of the Crew
Resources Management (CRM) training to other clusters.
While supporting service expansion, HKEC contributed to
environmental friendliness. PYNEH’s achievement was awarded
in May 2014 with “Public Organizations & Utilities – Certificate of
Merit” under the Sectoral Awards of the 2013 Hong Kong Awards
for Environmental Excellence organized by the Environmental
Campaign Committee.
To enhance corporate governance, additional communication
platforms betweenmanagement andHospital Governing Committee
(HGC) at cluster level continued and the annual self-assessment
survey of HGC kick-started in the year.
