Consultation rooms in the ENT Clinic became more spacious after
the renovation
其中一項主要改善工程，是區分出處理污物區、消毒和清潔區
域，進行合符標準的消毒程序
One of the major improvements included the segregation of the
dirty, decontamination and clean zones to practise up to standard
disinfection
提供無障礙設施，包括斜道、扶手和觸覺引路帶
Provision of barrier free facilities, including the inclined plane,
handrails and tactile guide path
本院致力打造更現代化的醫療環境，並為
行動不便的病人及體弱長者提供無障礙
通道，包括安裝暢通易斜道、自動門、視
像火警警報系統；翻新服務櫃枱以配合殘
疾人士的需要、興建前往主要連接點的觸
覺引路帶；樓梯與停車場的改善工程；改
建通往行車路之間的路緣，解決了路面不
平的問題；以及洗手間改建工程等。除了
無障礙通道的改善工程，本院現正加建變
壓站，以滿足電力供應需求，並為未來擴
充服務做好準備。
Efforts were also made to modernize the physical environment
providing barrier free access to address the safety concerns of frail
and elderly patients. These included the installation of accessible
ramps, auto doors, visual fire alarm system, renovation of the
service counter catering for the needs of people with disabilities,
construction of tactile guide path leading to the major connection
points, improvement works for staircases and carpark, provision of
dropped kerb on a footpath to accommodate the change in level
towards the vehicular areas and toilet modifications, etc. Apart
from the improvement works on barrier free access, a substation
is currently under construction to meet the demand for electricity
supply, paving the way for the expansion of clinical services in
the future.
